Erik Richards

I’ve been captivated by anthropomorphic storytelling and imagery for as long as I can remember. As a teenager, my dad introduced me to the bold and expressive illustrations of John James Audubon. His work brought to life the same sense of wonder I found in the animal folklore I grew up loving, though it was rooted in reality.

Through my camera, I hope to build a deeper connection with nature and, ultimately, with our Creator. In my own small way, I seek to continue the tradition in spirit of those who have come before me—observing, celebrating, and capturing various forms of life within our beautiful vast wilderness.
